View northwesterly in the late afternoon autumn sun towards the Josiah Hess (also known as Laubach) Covered Bridge over Huntington Creek in Fishing Creek Township, Columbia County, PA. Originally built in 1875, the Josiah Hess Covered Bridge was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979. The bridge was refurbished in 2006 after severe damage to due flooding, The bridge is in very good visual condition and is open to foot traffic only.
