Beautiful ...!!!

Thanks, Meg. The few clouds around that day were really fun to watch. Glad you enjoyed this shot. - Mike
Michelle Meenawong
spectacular shot Michael
Michael Mazaika replied:
Thank you, Michelle. It is a very special place to me and the interaction of the clouds and cliffs that day just added to it. - Mike
Greta Foose
Great details in the trees, in the rocks, in the clouds, a fabulous image at a place that can be very difficult to shoot.
Michael Mazaika replied:
You understand the challenges of timing there it seems, but worth the effort. Thank you, Greta.
Johanna Hurmerinta
Stunning photography!
Michael Mazaika replied:
You are very kind. Thank you for your visits to my portfolio, Johanna. - Mike
Thomas R Fletcher
Beautiful capture; well-chosen perspective.
Michael Mazaika replied:
Thanks Thomas. Being a meteorologist, it was interesting to spend an hour or more watching clouds form as the air rose over Seneca Rocks and other adjacent ridges and then dissipate as the air sank, warmed, and dried out after passing over the terrain. It was a fine day to just be there.

Magnificent view and capture! vote!
Michael Mazaika replied:
Thank you, Angela, for your kind words. One of my fortresses of solitude. As you can see from most of my FAA postings to date (i.e., from Gettysburg), I occasionally get to carry my cameras to places other than Civil War battlefields. But there's always gifts to be found elsewhere. Is the town ready for the onslaught of tourists for the 150th?
