Description
Sometimes the late afternoon light in the autumn and winter months acts like a laser when it breaks below a cloud deck and illuminates its target, in this case one of the few trees showing off its early fall colors in this area. Such was my good fortune while walking a path adjacent to Big Elk Creek near the Foxcatcher Farms Covered Bridge and the Fair Hill Nature Center in Cecil County, Maryland.
