Description
View southwesterly in early autumn of the Hall Covered Bridge across the Saxtons River in northeastern Windham County, Vermont, near Rockingham and Bellows Falls. Originally built in the 1860's by Sanford Granger, the Hall Covered Bridge (also referred to as the Osgood Covered Bridge) had been added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1973. However, the original covered bridge was destroyed by an overweight vehicle around 1980 but was fortunately rebuilt with painstaking attention to the details of the original a few years later by Milton Graton Associates. I landed on the Hall Covered Bridge because the builder is a friend of mine. Going through your work I see you're a big fan of history, you're doing what I'm doing. I like photographing ghost towns in Montana and covered bridges through out New England. Keep up the good work, really enjoying your work.
