View southeasterly towards the Mill Covered Bridge (also once known as the Hayward and Noble Covered Bridge with early autumn colors beginning to emerge on East Hill in this portion of Orange County, Vermont. The current bridge is a replica of the original covered bridge built around 1880 and was listed to the National Register of Historic Places in 1974. It was later destroyed by ice flows along the First Branch of the White River and reconstructed in 2000. It was built to serve the mill district in Tunbridge, VT.
