Description
Sepia toning renders a nostalgic feel to this northerly view towards the Trostletown (also known as Kantner's) Covered Bridge) over Stony Creek on North Club Road and near U.S Route 30 (the Lincoln Highway) in Somerset County, Pennsylvania. Originally built in 1873, the Trostletown Covered Bridge was purchased by the Stoystown Lions Club and refurbished in 1965 and 1993. The Trostletown (Kantner) Covered Bridge was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.
