Description
The Mink Hollow Covered Bridge presumably boasts the longest official name for a bridge in the United States - Mink Hollow Bridge over Arney Run in Oil Mill Hollow Near Borcher's Mill. The bridge, still on its original abutments, crosses over Arney Run. Having been bypassed, it is now only used for pedestrian traffic and preserved as part of the Arney Run Park. This view, in an east-northeasterly direction, shows the bridge's unusual airy design with a fair amount of late autumn color still remaining. The Mink Hollow Covered Bridge was originally built in 1887 by Jacob R. Brandt. Image = Ohio Covered Bridges Fairfield Mink Hollow-9 110716-110816 395-399 E-D M C1.jpg.

Nice capture of this covered bridge. We were not able to find this one when we were there. Very unique and nice autumn colors. L/F

It may have a long name, but it certainly has some interesting construction for a covered bridge, great find and compositions.
