View of a small, but colorful, portion of an inviting area of a side porch on the west side of the Schultz House, occupants of the home during the Battle of Gettysburg. Originally built in 1837 by West Point graduate Herman Haupt and later expanded in 1898 with its present Queen Anne Victoria features. Located in the Gettysburg Battlefield Historic District at the intersection of West Confederate Avenue and Pennsylvania Route 116 (the Fairfield Road) across from the Gettysburg Lutheran Theological Seminary.
