Description
Intense mid-morning light, a low sun angle, and a perspective from below the spillway just downstream of the Sach's Covered Bridge combine for a great contrast in colors along the banks of Marsh Creek. This bridge, built in 1854, was used by Union and Confederate troops prior to the Battle of Gettysburg and by Confederate forces during their retreat back to Virginia following the battle. Seem that every time I visit the place, there's a new view that reveals itself. Glad you liked the shot, Stuart. - Mike
