Description
Freshly painted for the annual Washington - Greene County Covered Bridge Festival, the Plant's Covered Bridge was built in the late 1800's, then rehabilitated 1976. One of the shorter bridges in the county, it crosses the Templeton Fork of Wheeling Creek. Plant's Covered Bridge was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979 and is designated as an historic bridge by the Washington County History and Landmarks Foundation.
