Description
Colorful stained glass is framed in the image of an oncoming steam-powered locomotive engine. The sign marks the Heritage Rail Trail as it passes through Glen Rock, PA, a once-burgeoning industrial hub between York, PA and Baltimore, MD, in our Nation's development. The Glen Rock Historic District was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1997. Image = PA Country Roads York Glen Rock-4 110814 016-020 E-D M C1 PSP.jpg.

A neat little find driving thru a neat little town with an interesting history as this country developed. It's located in Glen Rock along an old railroad bed that's now a hiking trail. A great addition to that trail. Thanks, Mitch. - Mike

Thanks, Jim. It's neat to not only find these images when I'm out and about, but finding out about the communities is an education as well. Be well. - Mike
