Thanks, Doug, for featuring this shot in the Winter Wonders group. I wouldn't have seen it when the trees had filled out. I appreciate your work in managing this group for us. - Mike

Beautiful... v/f
Michael Mazaika replied:
Thank you, Teena, very much. I've passed thru Franklin a number of times on my way to Seneca Rocks, Greenbank, Blackwater Falls, Babcock State Park (have some images on my site from those great places as well). It's a great area to visit with or without a camera. - Mike
Jeff Folger
I love hidden things, especially when they are covered bridges..! L/F
Michael Mazaika replied:
Thank you, Jeff. Visited the spot today, post-ice storm but to no avail. I'm glad that you enjoyed the shot. - Mike
Shirley Sirois

Gene Walls
Fantastic find and capture, Michael! This is a real beauty of a modern covered bridge! LF
Michael Mazaika replied:
It is compared to some of the bridges that I've seen. It's a fairly small bridge on private land, but the owner apparently cares about its upkeep and appearance. I'm glad you liked the scene, Gene. Thanks - Mike
Sandi OReilly

Beautiful! It is too bad these are getting harder to find! v
Michael Mazaika replied:
Sad true; but, perhaps it its an opportunity to be appreciative of the family, other folks, and even everyday things that we still have with us. I'm glad that you enjoyed this image, Pamela. Thanks. - Mike
Linda Cox
Wonderful image. What a brightly colored covered bridge. l/v
Michael Mazaika replied:
Thanks so very much, Linda. The light in the mid-Atlantic from late October thru mid-Feb (almost over) is pretty wonderful to experience and helps scenes like this. - Mike
Gary Hall

Michael Mazaika replied:
Gary, I always appreciate your encouraging comments and look forward to looking more closely at your winter scenic. - Mike

Sweet! Wish I had covered bridges...just old stone ones..which are cool too! ;) L
Michael Mazaika replied:
Thank you for the compliment and support. In my photography jaunts, I relate to your Bio in some ways "sit quietly ... listen carefully ... and consider these things"; and every time, without fail, the God Lord has something to say about what I've been shown or experienced. Thanks again and be well. - Mike
Patricia Dennis
Great find Michael! Lovely job capturing it.v
Michael Mazaika replied:
Thank you, Patricia. I count coming upon these scenes as a blessing. I'm glad you like the image. Mike
Ella Char
Beautiful Find! Well Done.
Michael Mazaika replied:
It truly was a find that didn't reveal itself until after the leaves dropped. I waited for the afternoon sun after a recent snowfall in early December. I'm glad you enjoyed this image. Hope you opportunities to safely get some snow scenes in your neck of the woods with that recent winter blast. - Mike
