This is a beautiful capture of loys station covered bridge.
Michael Mazaika replied:
Thank you, Kim. I hadn't ventured out to the covered bridges in Frederick County during the winter months but was intrigued at how they might look this year with all the "picture" snows that we had. I'm glad that you enjoyed this scene. - Mike

Marvelous color and lighting!...f/v
Michael Mazaika replied:
Hard to believe that someone set fire to this bridge a number of years ago, but that many folks gathered together to reconstruct it. It is a piece of the county's heritage. - Mike

Looks like a great place for a picnic, but I think I'll wait a couple of months until the snow melts.
Michael Mazaika replied:
It really is a very nice setting, Charles. It was a pretty cold day and my feet knew it by the end of the visit. Probably a good idea to wait for the snow melt to hit the picnic table altho that may be some time - we just added about 20 inches of new snow. - Mike

beautiful!
Michael Mazaika replied:
Thanks, Dan. I'm glad you liked the shot. It was a pretty cold afternoon that day (but, then, cold is a relative term when you live in Wisconsin and i live in Maryland). - Mike

Thank you, Patricia. This winter has re-kindled some interest in snow scenes for me. - Mike
