Michael, how beautiful is this memorial. I am Irish and have the name of my Irish Grandmother who came from Ireland and sadly died soon after arriving and giving birth to my Dad. I had no idea this existed, and am so glad you listed. Wonderful, I shall come back often!!! :D

Love your story and one I had not heard. I am always interested in the Artist's intention in presenting their work. I am Irish and the title caught my eye with the monument. Very nicely photographed, Wonderfull!!
Michael Mazaika replied:
Thank you, Mary. It’s a very special place to me for many reasons, as well as to many others then and now. I hope to visit there again this upcoming St. Patrick’s Day if I’m able and test the truth of a tale I heard about this monument. Thank you for your kind words and for reading my testimony. - Mike
