One of my fav monuments on the battlefield, Mike. There is so much back history with each monument. It is fascinating to research the canine mascotts that were so beloved by the men. The autumn foliage is the perfect frame for this capture!

Just got back from Gettysburg with some winter shots, always important to tell the story behind the photos
Michael Mazaika replied:
I’ve been privileged to visit Gettysburg for over 50 years. You chose a great time of year, William; in your latest trip there. The light is great from Nov to early Mar. Every monument has a story waiting' be told. Glad you liked this shot. - Mike
