Early afternoon shadows dot the Burkholder’s Covered Bridge (also known as Beechdale Covered Bridge) over Buffalo Creek on Burkholder Bridge Road, Somerset County, Pennsylvania. Originally built in 1870, Burkholder’s (Beechdale) Covered Bridge was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.
