Description
View northerly towards the Bowers Covered Bridge (also known as the Brownsville Covered Bridge) with autumn colors of yellow and orange near and behind the bridge showing their blaze. It crosses Mill Brook and is located on Bible Hill Road near its intersections with Westgate and Harrington Roads in south central Windsor County, Vermont. The somewhat narrow bridge has been rebuilt and reburbished a number of times reccently including substantial flooding damage due to Hurricane Irene and various vehicle mishaps. The exact buid date is not clear ranging from about 1890 to 1919. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1973.
