Photographs that include reflections of a scene in water often strive to (hope for) calm winds that can provide a mirror image of that scene. On this day, while photographing the nearby covered bridge over Carroll Creek in Baker Park, Frederick, MD, a breeze caused small ripples or wavelets across the creek transforming the reflections of trees along its bank into a naturally-occurring abstract image of color and light.
