A northwesterly view towards the southeast portal of the Josiah Hess Covered Bridge (also known as Laubach Covered Bridge) welcomes the visitor with open arms. The bridge crosses Huntington Creek in Fishing Creek Township, Columbia County, PA. The late afternoon sun, now lower in the sky, illuminates the bridge's interior and the near peak autumn colors on the hillside opposite the creek. Originally built in 1875, the Josiah Hess Covered Bridge was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979. It was refurbished in 2006 after severe damage due to flooding, Image = PA Covered Bridges Columbia Josiah Hess-8 103015 605-609 E-D S C1 PSP.jpg.

When I gave my life to Christ it was the fulfillment of the faithful prayers of many others on my behalf. There was no resounding...
