View east-southeasterly of the historic Halls Mill Covered Bridge which crosses Yellow Creek on St. Paul’s Church Road in Bedford County, a few miles north of Everett, PA. According to the Bedford County Visitors Bureau, this is the seventh bridge built at this location since 1860. The current structure was originally built in 1884 and recently refurbished. Michael, love your descriptions because for me, direction is so important, so I can identify with the subject and know whether it is morning or afTernoon, and enjoy how all the shadows and sunlight work in harmony for a wonderful photograph!!! :D L/F
Michael Mazaika replied:
Thank you, Mary, for your kind and intuitive thoughts. I love studying the light too and even if I’m not able to photograph something on a given visit, I try to remember when and at what time to return. The shadow in the foreground was an added treat that I didn’t remember from earlier. Thanks again. - Mike
