The Mink Hollow Covered Bridge presumably boasts the longest official name for a bridge in the United States - Mink Hollow Bridge over Arney Run in Oil Mill Hollow Near Borcher's Mill. The bridge, still on its original abutments, crosses over Arney Run. Having been bypassed, it is now only used for pedestrian traffic and preserved as part of the Arney Run Park. This view, in an east-southeasterly direction, shows the bridge's unusual airy design with a fair amount of late autumn color still remaining. The Mink Hollow Covered Bridge was originally built in 1887 by Jacob R. Brandt. Image = Ohio Covered Bridges Fairfield Mink Hollow-6 110716-110816 380-384 E-D N C1 PSP.jpg.

When I gave my life to Christ it was the fulfillment of the faithful prayers of many others on my behalf. There was no resounding...

This is a really unusual covered bridge and you captured it perfectly.
Michael Mazaika replied:
Thank you, Greta. It has been well preserved by the county as part of this park. It is an even more refined design to allow, as I understand it, for greater ventilation. - Mike

Thank you, Holly, for this feature. I found that many of the bridges in Ohio differ from the traditional designs that we're familiar with. - Mike
