Late-afternoon sunlight intensifies the natural wood siding of the Benetka Road (formerly East Matherson) covered bridge in this view northwesterly showing the southern bridge portal. Built around the turn of the last century, the bridge was refurbished during the 1980's and is still in service today. It is one of 19 covered bridges in Ashtabula County, Ohio. Nicely captured, I did visit discovered bridge couple years ago but the weather just did not cooperate to get a great shot, I love the light and the shadows a peaceful image to watch L/F!
