The monument to the 1st Infantry Regiment, Minnesota Volunteers at Gettysburg. The regiment saw significant action and casualty on both the Second and Third Days of Battle. Located on Hancock Avenue near Pleasonton Avenue and the Pennsylvania State Monument. A soldier is depicted atop the monument running courageously towards the frey. Gettysburg National Military Park.
