View northwesterly in early autumn of the West Dummerston Covered Bridge across the West River in eastern Windham County, Vermont. Originally built in 1872 by bridge builder Caleb Lamson. At about 271 feet, this two span structure is the second longest wooden covered bridge within the State of Vermont that is still open to traffic.
