Description
View northeasterly towards the eastern arch of the Hays Stone Arch Bridge (also known as Hays Fording Double Arch Stone Bridge) along Anderson Road crossing the West Branch of the Conococheague Creek near its junction with Licking Creek. The twin arch bridge was originally built around 1820, rebuilt in 1928, and refurbished during the 1970s. In this view, the bridge appears as a double-sided portal to early autumn colors along the Conococheague Creek.
