The windows of a storage building in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Frederick, Maryland, have all been bricked shut. Only the doors to the upper loft remain. Mount Olivet Cemetery was established and received its first interment in 1854. It is the final resting place for many of Frederick's and several state and national figures in our Nation's history - among them Francis Scott Key (author of the Star Spangled Banner, Thomas Johnson (first elected Governor of Maryland), and Dame Barbara Fritchie (of fame by John Greeleaf Whittier's poem). On its grounds lie those who served in our Country's battles from the Revolutionary War through today's conflicts, as well as families and folks who in leading their regular daily lives make up the true fabric of the United States of America. The cemetery lies within the bounds of the Frederick Historic District. Image = MD Country Roads - Frederick 111017 166-170 E-D M C1 PSP A-Sh.jpg.

When I gave my life to Christ it was the fulfillment of the faithful prayers of many others on my behalf. There was no resounding...
