Close view of one of the many vintage glass globes used to promote brand recognition at gas and service stations during the first half of the 20th Century; this globe, for servicing the Oldsmobile vehicle line. The Fifties Place and Mini Museum, a nostalgic reconstruction of a basic gas (filling) station located a few miles west of Bedford, Pennsylvania, along U.S. Route 30- the Lincoln Highway.
