Description
Close view of one of the many vintage glass globes usually placed on top of gas pumps to help with brand recognition during the first half of the 20th Century. This globe, for the Atlantic Oil company, is installed on the pumps at The Fifties Place and Mini Museum, a nostalgic reconstruction of a basic gas (filling) station located a few miles west of Bedford, Pennsylvania, along U.S. Route 30- the Lincoln Highway.
