Beautiful sunset Mike well done
Michael Mazaika replied:
Thanks, Peter. Of all the Civil War battlefields that I’ve been privileged to visit, Antietam, is still my favorite (even tho I now live in Gettysburg). - Mike

My favorite photograph of yours Mr. Mazaika. I have always been fond of silhoulletted photos and the colors in the sky are just remarkable .
Michael Mazaika replied:
Thank you, Kevin, for your kind encouragement. I have quite a few from Gettysburg in my portfolio and will be adding a few more that I was able to photograph last weekend there. I, too, enjoy the light and peacefulness at the start and end end of the day. The conditions for this shot finally took shape after many years of visiting the Antietam Battlefield; but I'm never disappointed any time I get to go there. - Mike
Robert Frederick
Well done! VFG
Michael Mazaika replied:
Thank you, Robert. Found out recently that volunteers from my home town in PA served in this unit which I had not known about previously. Glad you like the image.

Many thanks to the purchaser of this image - my first sale through Fine Art America. If you've not had the opportunity, my hope is that you get to visit Antietam. Of all the Civil War battlefields I've been privileged to walk the ground, Antietam / Sharpsburg is my favorite. Blessing to you. - Mike

Wonderful!
Michael Mazaika replied:
Thank you, Chris. I watched the evening sky there for years on my many trips to Antietam. Visited your page and love the cloud photography - eye candy for us meteorologists. - Mike
