Description
View southeasterly towards the Heikes Covered Bridge in the late morning, early autumn. Built in 1892 using the Burr arch truss design, the well-kept bridge sits on private land and crosses the Bermudian Creek adjacent to the Old Harrisburg Road a few miles north of Heidlersburg, PA. The Heikes Covered Bridge was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980. Image = Covered Bridges-Heikes Autumn 101814 102-106 E-P S C1 PSP EPETM B-9 AShSm.jpg.

I like the sepia tone here Michael.
Michael Mazaika replied:
Thank you, Skip. Although no longer used for traffic, the folks who maintain this covered bridge have done a great job. Glad you enjoyed this old-timey rendering. - Mike
