Description
Originally built in 1866 by Elias McMellen, the Red Run Covered Bridge uses double Burr Arch Truss construction. No longer in use today, the bridge is located at the Red Run Campground in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. Sepia toning renders a nostalgic feel to this view of the Red Run Covered Bridge. The bridge was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980. Image = PA Covered Bridges Lancaster Red Run-4A Spring 050815 360-364 E-P S2 PSP A-Sh E-PeTmB.jpg.

The fence just added to the scene of this relocated, but still preserved, old bridge. Thank you for the feature, Debra and Dave. - Mike
