Artist's Description
Freshly painted for the annual Washington - Greene County Covered Bridge Festival, the reconstructed Ebenezer (or former Ebenezer Church) Covered Bridge is quite likely the most photogenic of these historical gems in the two counties since its relocation to the Mingo Creek County Park near Eighty-Four, PA in 1977. It was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in June 1979. The bridge is in excellent visual condition. Image = PA Covered Bridges Wash Ebenezer-2A 101015-101115 761-765 E-D M C1.jpg.

I am a lover of history and of our country; privileged to have seen a few other lands and their people; grateful for the sight that I have been given on loan; blessed by the scenes before me and the vision to see what they may look like at another hour and in another season. When I gave my life to Christ it was the fulfillment of the faithful prayers of many others on my behalf. There was no resounding...

Now there's a beauty Michael - you have a great looking gallery :)
Michael Mazaika replied:
Thank you, Mike. When I saw your photo it reminded me of a lesson that I learned when photographing monuments at the Antietam battlefield and that is to take a few steps, turn around and look. The scene often reveals yet another scene and in the places that you visit I can easily see that happening. - Mike
