Description
View northeasterly of the Colemanville Covered Bridge (also known as Martic Forge Covered Bridge) over the Pequea Creek in Lancaster County, PA. Soft focus renders a nostalgic feel to this autumn scene. The bridge was originally built in the mid-1800's. Damaged by flooding and rebuilt twice in the 1900's, the bridge was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1980. It was later reconstructed in 1992.
