Freshly painted for the annual Washington - Greene County Covered Bridge Festival, the reconstructed Bailey Covered Bridge was built in the late 1800's, then rebuilt after being vandalized by fire in 1994. It is said to be the last standing covered bridge in Washington County using the Burr Arch Truss design. It was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979 and is designated as an historic bridge by the Washington County History and Landmarks Foundation.
