Description
This southwesterly view of the bridge is illuminated by the mid-afternoon sun, surrounded by near-peak autumn colors. Originally built in 1864 just south of Baltimore over Walnut Creek, the bridge had decayed over time, but was refurbished and shortened in length through the efforts of Jim and Jane Walter. The bridge was then donated to Fairfield County and moved to is present location in Lancaster, OH. Image = Ohio Covered Bridges Fairfield McCleery-8 110716-110816 165-169 E-D S C1 FT G-8 PSP.jpg.
