A small grotto built on the grounds of Saint Peter the Apostle Roman Catholic Church in Libertytown, Maryland commemorates the appearance of the Blessed Virgin Mother to Bernadette (later Saint Bernadette Soubirous of Lourdes) and two of her companions in 1858.
