Description
Built in 1885, Heckton Methodist Church was built on land donated by Henrietta McAllister. The church, which stood in the floodplain of the Susquehanna River, had been damaged by flood waters and fire over the years and was relocated to higher ground in 2009 in Fort Hunter Park outside of Harrisburg, in Dauphin County. A lovely little country church with stain windows. The fall colours really set off the little church. A lovely capture that is enjoyable. L/F sandy
