I almost didn't look at this for it seemed so dark! I am glad I did, as it is a very interesting image and I find myself drawn to it.

I agree with you, Dee. It is a dark image in many respects considerng what went on here more than 150 years ago. I am drawn to return to these places to remember those who have and continue to serve. I'm glad to hear that it had an emotional link for you. - Mike
