Description
View northeasterly towards the former Dellville Covered Bridge which crosses Sherman Creek. Ground foliage beginning to turn color in the cool and breezy autumn air provides a natural framed view for this historic covered bridge. Built in 1889 and destroyed by fire in 2014, the Dellville (earlier known as Billow's Ford) Covered Bridge was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980. Thank you Debra and Dave. Sadly, this wonderful window to the past was destroyed by arson last November. Be well. I'm grateful for the feature in the "Barns Big and Small" group. - Mike
